If you signed up via the website, follow these steps to change your plan: 

1. Sign in on the Jme website

2. Click the person icon in the upper right corner and click “Account".

3. On the "Account" page, click "Change" under “Subscription".

4. On the "Choose a Plan" page, select your desired plan and click "Continue."

5. Click "Confirm.”

*You may change your plan at any time; however, any plan changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.  *6-Month Plan will be available from October 15th, 2025.

*On Demand is only available as a monthly plan.

As we have already announced in our email newsletters, we have added a new feature that will allow you to watch missed news programs up to one week from the NHK World Premium Schedule rather than from the missed news page. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we hope you will be able to use this feature from now on. ▷ (play mark) will be displayed to the right of the program title in the NHK World Premium Schedule . You can watch missed programs immediately after they have aired for 7 days, so please make use of it.

When you watch on ROKU, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, or Apple TV, please follow the detailed instruction for how to replay missed programs. In order to show days & dates on the Schedule of TV app, you need to click on a program currently being broadcast on NHK World Premium schedule. It is slightly different from PC.

1. Access Jme.tv or Go to this page here.

2. Click on "Sign In."

3. Click on "Forgot your password?"

4. Enter your registered email address on the screen.

5. You will receive an email with the subject "Your reset password request has been processed." Click the "Reset Password" button in the email

6. On the screen that appears, enter your new password twice (same password in both fields)

7. Your password has now been successfully changed. Click the "Return to Sign In" button to go back to the sign-in screen. Then enter your email address and new password to sign in again.

2. Click "Sign in" and sign in with your registered email address and password.

3. Click the person icon in the top right corner of the page to open the settings menu and select "Account"

4. Go to the "Payment Methods" section on your Account page and click "Edit"

5. On the Change Payment Information page, enter your new credit card number, expiration date, security code, and name, then click "Save Details." Once saved, your changes will be complete.

If payment cannot be completed or viewing plan is not automatically renewed, you will receive an email stating "Your payment has been rejected." Please check the "Failure reason" in the email. Refused and Issuer Suspected Fraud → Cleeng is an officially authorized vendor of JME. Contact your credit card company or bank and ask them to clear the charge from Cleeng. Invalid Card Number → Check and enter the credit card information registered in your account again. Blocked Card → The registered credit card has been blocked by the bank due to loss or theft, so enter new credit card information in your account.

Not Enough Balance →Your credit card limit or debit card balance is insufficient. Contact your credit card company or increase your debit card balance.

Unfortunately, there is no option to pause your subscription. If you are going on vacation or will not be watching for a while, you will need to cancel your subscription and restart it when you return to the US or Canada.

1. Log in via the website with your registered email address and password

2. Click the person icon in the top right of the site and click "Account"

3. Click "Continue Subscription" and your service will resume.

2. Click the person icon in the upper right corner of the site and click "Account"

3. Click the "Cancel Subscription" button in "Account"

4. When the pop-up "Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription?" appears, press "OK"

*It will be automatically renewed unless you cancel before the next billing date. If you cancel before the next billing date, you will be able to watch Jme for one month (monthly plan) or one year (annual plan) from the billing date. After that, it will be automatically canceled. *If you cancel the monthly plan or annual plan midway, there will be no refund. Please be sure to read Jme's terms of use .

*You cannot log in to the Jme website or app from countries other than the United States and Canada. If you are returning to Japan or moving to a country other than the United States or Canada, please cancel your subscription in advance.
